Social Content Strategy

CAMPUS OPENING AUGUST 2019

As a communications and marketing assistant for the UCF Downtown project, a portion of my work has included the launch and maintenance of our social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The marketing plan I created uses Hootsuite and Google analytics to enhance local partnerships while growing organic user engagement. In the two months since the accounts have been introduced, I have already reached 1k followers on Instagram – about a third of the way to my opening date goal. Scheduled to open in fall 2019, this transformational project, which kick-starts downtown Orlando’s $1 billion public-private Creative Village, will increase access for 7,700 students, provide pathways into high-demand career fields, foster collaboration with our neighbors in meaningful ways and improve countless lives through the power of education.
